Before joining PCI in 1988, Air Force veteran Larry Storer gained valuable media experience as the managing editor of the Daily Independent Herald, the editorial page editor of the Beaumont Enterprise & Journal and as an associate professor of journalism at Baylor University. He also explored his entrepreneurial side as the owner of Communifax USA Property Tax Reduction. Now he works for PCI from his home base of Waco, Texas. Here, he designs pages and edits content for Concrete Monthly and Enterprise Networks & Servers. He also stays up-to-date with the latest industry news by checking related Web sites, calling and e-mailing association and industry contacts, processing news materials, alerting news sources, contacting advertisers, and editing copy for Concrete Monthly and Enterprise Networks & Servers. He also makes weekly commutes to Austin, where he meets with sales reps and page designers. Larry, who holds a B.A. from Baylor and a M.Ed. from Lamar University, lives in Waco with his wife, a second-grade teacher. In his free time, Larry can be found playing with his dog, a three-year-old Collie named Rhome; attending Big 12 games, matches and meets in all sports; reading; and doing some non-work related writing. |
